trzymaj się, chowaj się, i nie daj sięNovember 2025“trzymaj się, chowaj się, nie daj się” loosely translates to “care for yourself, cultivate yourself, and don’t let anyone get to you”, and it’s something my grandma has said ever since i can remember. it’s a beautiful echo to have in the back of my mind, and it’s more on the forefront since i got it tattooed.
my lovely tattoo artist was kind enough to let me turn our original design into a silk screen that i printed over my woodcut relief prints! the floral carving was inspired by traditional Polish lace, embroidery and folk art.
